The Jeremy Deller at the museum is free and well worth seeing. The short video features great slow motion shots of birds of prey and a steel band playing classical and Bowie tunes ( they will be playing live at the museum on the last day of the exhibition in September).
On June 19th there is the Bowie night. That costs £10 and will feature the Fantasy Orchestra* playing a selection of Bowie tunes as well as talks and inter-active art thingies. Tickets are going fairly fast and there's only about a hundred left, so get in quick if you want to come along.
There's a rumour that David Bowie himself WON'T be coming. But you can't always believe these rumours.
*The Fantasy Orchestra will include me hiding at the back pretending to play.
