Copy of above. Not as successful.

I was using this board for mixing paint, but it looked quite good.

Based on leaves on Redland station, but looking like Guy Fawkes

Room

Mivart Street studios is an old factory ( about 100 years old) that has now been converted into art studios.
The building is a square, that runs around a lower part in the middle. The front is three storeys and the back two. They have those saw tooth north facing windows. It seems designed to catch the most even light.
Now it has been divided into lots of studios. Walking around is just like falling into a magic rabbit warren or something. Going through corridors, looking into all sorts of nooks and crannies where people are exhibiting things, great, good, pretty, strange or a mixture of them all.

We had a steady flow through our room. Lots of chats, laughs, comments.
Special thanks to Rod who was there nearly all the time and all of us who did our bit.

Here's to the next one.

More to come... Links to artists I noticed there.

Saturday October 13th

Second day of Mivart Street Open Studios. More relaxed now. Getting to know faces. No pictures of Exhibition yet, but here is some sky from the window and a shot of the unusual Mivart Building
